FORD Changemaker Competitive Events Series

Each year, SADD chapters across the country lead traffic safety efforts in their schools and communities. Ford Driving Skills for Life and SADD are teaming up to recognize chapters for their efforts. Any registered SADD chapter who completes an event around drugged, drunk, distracted, or drowsy driving prevention will be eligible to enter their activity in the the Change Maker Competitive Events Series. As part of this competition, award submissions will be evaluated based upon the criteria below.

Chapters must complete an online application sharing their program and results by April 17, 2020. Applications will be reviewed by members of Ford Driving Skills for Life and SADD Nation and scored based upon the criteria above. The top three chapters in each category (drugged, drunk, drowsy, and distracted driving prevention) will be selected to send two students and an advisor to the 2020 SADD National Conference — all expenses covered by Ford Driving Skills for Life. Here, the finalist will present their project and results to a review committee who will select a First, Second, and Third Place winner in each category. Winners will be announced at the 2020 SADD National Conference:

1st Place - $1,000

2nd Place - $500

3rd Place - $250
